According to the announcement on the official Coinbase Card twitter account, Coinbase card customers can now use their BAT (Basic Attention Token), XLM, XRP (Stellar), ZRX (0x) and REP (Augur) via the Coinbase card.
This is another move bringing Coinbase and XRP closer together. It was only in the beginning of 2019 (February 25th) that Coinbase finally listed XRP after years of waiting and speculation. Back in April, Coinbase also announced on its website that its users could use the platform to send money internationally for free, using XRP and USDC. Last but not least, a month ago Coinbase invested in ODL exchange Bitso, in a funding round led by Ripple.
Coinbase Card is available for customers in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK. Coinbase is working on expanding the offer to additional markets.
Coinbase Card customers are able to spend their crypto from nine different wallets: BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, XRP, BAT, REP, ZRX, and XLM
