by | Feb 15, 2019

Liechtensteinische Post AG, Liechtenstein’s official postal service, is now offering the exchange of cryptocurrencies at the counter.

According to an announcement on February 14th, Liechtensteinische Post AG customers will be possible to switch to Bitcoin at the post office counter in Vaduz, starting today. Crypto exchange will be no different to the conventional money exchange business, which has always been part of Swiss Post’s service offering.

This service is made possible with a partnership with Värdex Suisse AG (a blockchain payment service provider for the development and operation of Enterprise POS Blockchain solutions in Switzerland). After purchasing BTC, the customers will get a physical wallet generating public and private keys.

After an introductory phase, the offer will be extended to other post offices and extended by the exchange of additional cryptocurrencies: ETH, LTC, BCH and XRP.
